Aye Navarro

Director, CEO & Co-Founder

Aye has over 18 years experience in various leadership roles, 8 of which are in outsourced accounting.

His expertise in accounting, business processes, technology and management has enabled Vertaccount’s growth from a 5 person team in 2010 to 60 professionals in 2015. Based in Manila, Aye is leading Vertaccount’s expansion globally, while continuing to build and manage the service delivery center.

Aye has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Ateneo De Manila University.

Bernice Parsons

President & Co-Founder

Bernice Parsons has extensive experience managing start-up and offshore business process service operations. As President and Co-Founder of Vertaccount, Bernice brings a unique set of expertise to Vertaccount’s clients through the reliable delivery of global accounting services.

Bernice has overseen extensive outsourcing engagements of various complexities and size. Her knowledge of the intricacies of off shore operations has resulted in a successful record of bridging the back office accounting needs of local businesses with the capabilities of a global accounting team. Prior to forming Vertaccount, Bernice co-founded MontPac Outsourcing, one of the earliest entrants in the offshore accounting field in Hawaii where she served as its Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.

In 2013, Bernice was named as a 40 Under 40 honoree by Pacific Business News. In the same year, she was also a finalist at the Hawaii State Junior Chamber of Commerce’s Ten Outstanding Young Person’s Award. In 2010, she was recognized by the Small Business Administration as the Financial Services Champion in Honolulu. In 2021, she was recognized as a Women Who Mean Business honoree by the Pacific Business News.

Bernice was the Director of Online Marketing and Distribution of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii and was also a co-founder of one of the Philippines’s first and largest online companies, Localvibe.com, which was later purchased by GetAsia.com.

Bernice holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.

Bernice is a member and Learning Chair of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO Hawaii) , former board and finance committee member for the YWCA of Oahu, former board member of the Honolulu Executive Association and current board member of the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation.
